Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Crozet Sports Summer Camp! The Crozet Sports Kids Summer Camp is so much more than sports! Our summer camp is designed to give Kindergarten – 5th grade campers a break from school while still providing a structured environment that allows them to have new experiences, stay active and to grow mentally, physically and socially!  This summer we are excited to expand our camp offerings to include a new experience for our elementary campers.  Check out our Adventure Camp experience description listed below. Summer Camp K-5 Experience (weeks of 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14)

Camp Location (Drop off & Pick Up): Brownsville Elementary School

Crozet Sports Summer Camp has something for everyone… whether your child wants to improve their sports skills, compete in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities, participate in team-building exercises, design and create crafts, get outside or just hang out with our amazing campers and staff… Crozet Sports Summer Camp is for them! Each day, campers will participate in fun activities centered around the weekly theme. Each week also includes a field trip to swim at Crozet Park or another local destination and a camp t-shirt!

     

 Grades: K – 5th (2023-2024 school year)

 Camp Times: 8:00am to 5:30pm

 Drop-Off: 8:00am-9:00am

 Pick-Up: 4:30pm-5:30pm

Adventure Camp K-5 Experience (weeks of 7/10, 7/17,7/24)

Camp Location: Miller School of Albemarle (transportation provided to MSA)

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Brownsville Elementary School

We are so excited to provide our elementary school campers with this new camp experience and can’t wait for the adventures ahead! Participants in the Adventure Camp K-5 Experience will have all the fun activities of the Summer Camp K-5 Experience PLUS all the adventures and opportunities provided by the Miller School of Albemarle campus in Crozet! During these camp weeks in July, all rising K through 5th graders are invited to join the Crozet Sports team for three fun-filled camp weeks at the Miller School of Albemarle campus. As a convenience to our families, a morning and afternoon shuttle service will be provided to and from our camp base location. More details on the shuttle service will be sent out to families as we get closer to camp. Transportation is included in the camp weekly fee!

Adventure Camp Experiences will include:

  • A fun, structured camp environment led by Teachers and Coaches

Crozet Sports Got Talent! : Wk #1 June 12-16

Big or small, everyone has a gift and talent unique to them. Imagine if we all used these gifts to make a positive impact on our community.  Get ready to step into the spotlight and showcase your talent! This is your week to shine, whether it’s song, dance, art, sports, you name it! Get ready for: Lights, camera, action! 

Once Upon a Time in the Swamp: Wk #2 June 19-23

That’s right, we’re headed to the swamp to hang out with the coolest ogre ever, Shrek! Get ready for a Shrek themed week complete with stories, activities and art featuring fairy tale creatures, donkeys, princesses and dragons! We can’t forget the best part. You guessed it, on Friday mornin’, we’re making WAFFLES!

Party in the USA: Wk #3 June 26-30

Celebrate America during this red, white and blue packed week. This week’s theme is a birthday party for the USA, including some outdoor summer fun. Activities will include birthday party themed games and activities plus treats and surprises! Join as we celebrate America’s 246th birthday!

World Cup : Wk #4 July 10-14

Get ready to put on your game faces, showcase your talent, strength and endurance in a fun and encouraging environment. Join us this week to cheer on your favorite team from the opening ceremony, team building, individual challenges and finally our medal ceremony. This week we will celebrate teamwork, discipline and endurance and of course, sports as we prepare for the 2023 World Cup!

Boo Bash: Wk #5 July 17-21

Our spookiest week this summer with lots of tricks and some treats plus a week long search for BigFoot! Join us for some Halloween themed games, crafts and activities! On Friday, dress up in your favorite costume, play your favorite party games and show off your moves at our Boo Mash party.

 

Magic Week: Wk #6 July 24-28

Dive into mystical and magical fun as you watch and learn how to do magic tricks that will amaze your family and friends! But remember, magicians never reveal their secrets!

Young Einsteins: Wk #7 July 31- August 4

This week will bring out the genius in all of us. In addition to our traditional games, campers will explore and celebrate all things science through experiments, cooking and in the great outdoors. On Friday, campers will participate in team-based STEAM challenges.

Space Jam: Wk #8 August 7-11

Welcome to the Space Jam! It’s a week full of out of this world fun, music, games, art and sports!  Come jam with us as we explore the universe!

Team Captain: Wk #9 August 14-18

Crozet Sports is dedicated to serving our community and we can’t think of a better way than to develop leadership qualities among our youth population. This week is committed to activities that promote positive communication, problem solving skills, honesty and integrity all while focusing on perseverance, discipline and team-building.

Payment Instructions

You must submit the fee for at least one camp week per camper in order to secure your child’s spot in summer camp.  The remaining camp weeks must be paid for in full by
June 1, 2023.   You may visit your client account on the Crozet Sports website and submit payment for your bookings at any time.  After submitting payment for the minimum of one week, it is entirely up to you when you’d like to submit payment for the remaining weeks as long as completed by June 1, 2023!  You will receive a payment request for the $50 family registration fee or you can send a payment of $50 at any time.  The Summer Camp Parent Handbook includes all of the refund/cancellation policies.  Prior to contacting us, please visit and review these policies as all of the details are outlined there.

Camp Scholarships

The Crozet Sports Summer Camp will be offering financial assistance to eligible camp families through the Crozet Sports Community Foundation. A partial reduction in camp fees will be offered to eligible families on a first come, first serve basis. Our goal is to work with families to ensure that our Summer Camp is accessible to the entire community.  Please contact us at [email protected] to further discuss this program and to apply.

  Weekly Camp Fee 

$315 Full Day & $175 Half Day                               

$350 (for Adventure Camp weeks)

Note:  The camp fee cost is higher for Adventure Camp weeks due to increased facility and activity costs. 

 

The Crozet Sports Summer Camp will be offering financial assistance to eligible camp families through the Crozet Sports Community Foundation (501c3). Help a family and camper by donating.  All donations will be applied to the Summer Camp scholarship fund.
