In the Fall of 2018, Crozet Sports began operating as an athletic and academic academy offering sports camps and clinics, kids day camps, and summer camps in Crozet!  We also launched a community survey to gather feedback from area residents on the design of an indoor facility, programs, services, affordability, and overall interest.  Since our launch, we have heard from many in our community who have embraced our vision. There are so many individuals and families who are excited about this facility and have supported the project, and assisted with the project planning.

Crozet Sports is currently transitioning the operation of its sports academy to a non-profit organization.  The Crozet Sports Community Foundation, Inc (CSCF) will serve as a non-profit community-oriented organization to continue serving the growing athletic, health, and academic needs of the Western Albemarle community.  Through CSCF, we will offer financial assistance and scholarships to ensure that our programs and services are accessible to the entire community.

We are now seeking to develop an Indoor Athletic and Academic facility to offer an array of opportunities for the youth athletes and active adults in the community and to also support the local schools.

Early on in this journey we connected with leaders of local youth sports organizations, athletic clubs, school leadership, and other community leaders.  With their feedback as well as valuable input from our entire team we have brought our vision to life through both the academy and the proposed development of the indoor facility!

Through the indoor facility, we will also work to provide the necessary resources for adults in our community to continue living healthy and active lives through our planned adult academic academy, adult sports leagues, and health and wellness programs!

We appreciate your continued support! Our goal is to continue working with the community and county to ensure this facility helps to not only meet current needs but also the projected future needs based on population growth projections and other considerations.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to serving our community.
