Baseball and Softball
Bev Miller is a current PhD student at the University of Virginia and a former standout college softball player at Oregon State University. She played two years at Monterey Peninsula College before starring at NCAA Division I Oregon State University, of the prestigious Pac-12 conference. Bev was a two-year team captain at OSU, as well as a highly involved community leader off the playing field. She has a top-tier knowledge of the game that will be invaluable to softball development in our community. Bev’s instructional style also includes the values of commitment, accountability, and strong ethics.
Jason Beale is a All-American NCAA Baseball Athlete, with 20 plus years of baseball instruction from high school to the professional levels. He played at Ferrum College and then transferred to Virginia Tech during his college career. Jason is the current Western Albemarle High Pitching Coach and still holds pitching records for WAHS baseball program and was named player of the year in high school. He is an amazing leader and coach with a wealth of knowledge. Jason’s passion comes from deep roots through his Dad, Sam Beale known as the original “Dr. Baseball” in the Central Virginia area. Jason is dedicated to share his talents and experiences to better development of players to succeed in this game of baseball and life.
