Weekly to twice weekly, practices would be working towards cheering on the sidelines for JDYFL football team(s), based on their fall schedule.

Competition Cheer

The Competition Cheer Program will be our most rigorous cheer program, with a focus on learning a routine that will be performed at 2-4 local cheerleading competitions (with the potential for nationals at Walt Disney World in March).

Tryouts will take place prior to summer to select the competition team, and weekly to twice weekly practices will take place to lead up to competitions starting after a week-long cheer clinic. Skills in the routine include motions, jumps, tumbling, a crowd-leading cheer, and stunting.
