Crozet Sports has partnered with Uplevel Martial Arts to launch a Karate School in Crozet! The Crozet Karate School will launch in March! Registration is now open.
This program is dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and families. An environment will be created for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in reaching their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our program levels, students will learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves and build the self-confidence needed for every member to achieve greatness and live their best life.
There will be limited spots available in the program at first launch. New classes will be added after 9 weeks and families on the waitlist will be offered the first opportunity to join the program. This program is for youth ages 5 and up!
Program Structure
This is a membership-based program. The membership fee will be due monthly in order to maintain the participant’s spot in the program. A cancellation notice of two weeks will be required to withdraw from the program.
The karate belt system provides students with short and long term goals to motivate their progression in the art of karate. Each new belt color represents milestones along the path as concrete recognition of the student’s increasing skills, strength, dedication, knowledge and commitment. Step by step, belt by belt, students are encouraged as they strive toward their ultimate goal.
Each participant will have the opportunity to advance to a new level in the belt system every 9 weeks! Students may miss some classes and still progress every 9 weeks given they are able to demonstrate mastery of the skills needed to advance.
