Crozet Sports has partnered with Moment of Lift Conditioning to bring an exciting new youth program to the Crozet and western Albemarle community.  YouthFit is a program designed to make fitness and sports training fun, engaging, and effective for our area youth.  The program will launch this summer and include an 8 week youth conditioning program led by Lindsay Campbell- Owner, Moment of Lift Conditioning.  This program is for both youth athletes and anyone looking to be active and fit!  There will be two age groups:  FitKidz (age 9-12) and FitTeenz (age 13-16).  Space is limited in each age group so please register today to secure your spot!

FitKidz Age group 9-12 
Session schedule:
Tuesdays 6-7pm
Saturdays 8:30-9:30am

FitTeenz Age group 13-16 
Session schedule:
Thursdays 6-7pm
Saturdays 9:45-10:45am

FitKidz 9-12 Age Group 

Kids learning the fundamentals of fitness to move efficiently, understand the different muscle groups and their importance in movement, how to exercise in ways that prevent injury, and build or maintain physical fitness during the summer. Training is one hour long and starts with mobility warm ups and then transitions into a different style of circuit training depending on the day’s focus. We will be using body weight, resistance bands, and cardio moves to achieve the workout. The session always ends with stretching and high fives!  

 

FitTeenz 13-16 Age Group

Kids will start by learning the fundamentals of resistance training and its importance in efficient movement, how to exercise in ways that prevent injury, and build or maintain physical fitness during the summer whether they are an athlete or not. Training is one hour long and starts with mobility warm ups and then transitions into a different style of circuit training depending on the day’s focus. This group will incorporate multi-functional movements and have the option to add heavier weight in addition to body weight, resistance bands, and cardio to their movements. The session always ends with stretching and high fives!
